The phote on this channel is of my parents, my father, a Newfoundlander who served with the Royal Navy during WW2 and my mother, a war bride from Liverpool, England.
I am sad to say that both my parents had passed away before this project was started. I know my mother would have loved to have been one of the women featured in the videos.
So I am very thankful to the ladies who participated as this is such an important project for me and in doing so these ladies have contributed significantly to our history.
