The River of Hope Foundation provides integrative medical retreats in the form of water features to nominated cancer patient's. On this channel you can watch the shows that James Dugan INC produces in conjunction with the foundation to show the benefits of such retreats.
About Me:
Before founding River of Hope, Heinert spent several years as the Facility Manager for POET, LLC, managing daily facility and grounds operations for the companys corporate headquarters in Sioux Falls. Prior to that Heinert served as President for Dreamscapes, Ltd, a SDLNA Award-Winning Company. As President and Owner of this landscape design, sales and installation firm, Heinerts professional and applied expertise in the field of landscape design and project management provided the framework for his vision, passion, work ethic, and values as Executive Director for the River of Hope Foundation.
Since its inception, River of Hope, with leadership from Heinert and the Board of Directors, has accomplished three individual projects and is poised to complete six individual projects in 2010. In addition, River of Hope is collaborating with the City of Sioux Falls to convert a city park to a community place of reflection and hope for patients and families facing diagnosis and treatment as well as a venue for cancer fundraising events.
