Jesus Loves Zygotes - Non-Prophets kyokumajr - 998 views - 7 months ago
I really wanted to do karaoke style below the picture, but doing it in Movie maker is a mental suicide for me. I was (re)listening to some of the old shows, so yeah...

The Non-Prophets is a live internet radio show airing on alternate Saturdays from 2 PM to 3:30 PM Central (19:00-20:30 UTC). The recorded program is available as a podcast and downloadable from their archive.

Episode: 7.3
PZ Myers almost gets to debate intelligent design, the Pope's anti-science stance, drugs and religious experiences, labelling non-believers.

Jesus Loves Little Zygotes Lyrics:

Jesus loves the little zygotes
all the zygotes of the world.
Jesus loves them until they're born
then abandons them forlorn.
Jesus loves the little zygotes 'til they're born.

Jesus loves the little children
all the children of the world.
Jesus gives them heart defects
measles, mumps, and ringwormed necks.
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Jesus lets their parents beat them,
bruise their bodies black and blue.
Jesus gives them birth defects,
scurvy, ticks, and palette clefts.
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Jesus gives the children cancer.
Earaches, lice, and scabies too.
Bowel obstructions, altered lips,
blighted brains and twisted hips.
Extra chromosomes to help them when they pray.

Hallelujah.

Jesus gives the children acne.
AIDS and leprosy galore.
Germs and worms of every kind.
Things to make the children blind.
But he cannot give them smallpox anymore.

Scientists and unbelievers
wiped the pox right off the earth.
Jesus still gives gifts to kids,
broken nose and burnt eyelids.
But he cannot give them smallpox anymore."

Culture of Denial: Evolution, Global Warming, and Big Tobacco. DonExodus2 - 19,969 views - 1 month ago
Once again I dissect the 'scientific dissent from darwin' produced by the creationist propoganda mill known as the discovery institute. I also examine where this culture of scientific denial came from, and how it relates to conservative thinktanks and big tobacco.

For more information on the American Denial of Global Warming, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =2T4UF_Rmlio

For the Beauty that cannot be seen,

For the honor of those whose shoulders we stand on,

For the hope of those we aspire to become,

And for the inspiration of those who will surpass our achievements.

About Me: My name is Steve, I would not have voted for Nixon, were I alive at the time. I like to think a lot, and play disc golf.

I have been touched by the noodly appendage of our saucy savior, the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I was never trying to argue for my religion above any other. I simply feel that their must be a non-physical component to this universe or some manner of plan beyond chance. The universe is too complex and yet conveinently works. DNA, among the smallest components of a human being, has the potential for more different chemical code combinations than anyone could be count, and if even one was of them were off it would result in a diseffect or death. And we haven't even begun to understand how thoughts are created beyond the electro-magnetic pulses. I do not believe that matter can be created or destroyed through physical means and to say that this complex universe happened by chance is like saying a tornado went through a junkyard and compiled a car by shear chance. I respect your beliefs, but it would take more faith for me to be an atheist than a Christian.

That's interesting. I am always wondering how some people come to logic and escape religious indoctrination while most people do not seem to be able to and put allot of mental effort into maintaining their delusions.

I rejected Catholicism at the age of 11 when my questions were answered very unconvincingly.

It would be great to get your story in blog form if your interested. I'm releasing an Atheist site in about a week and am looking for interesting stories on de-conversions and anything anti religious or about religion.

Do you do any writing?

I saw a comment where you said you were a born again Christian. What caused you to change?

Oh yeah, and the name is ironic, thanks for bloody asking, folks. No, I would not vote for Nixon. I do, however, find the idea of toting a 'vote for Nixon' sign around very amusing.

If anyone else is seeing my comments and noting that I'm a 'troll' (just found out what that means in this context) please don't hesitate to post.

I AM, in fact, paying attention, and welcome all sides.

Coz is crazy, like me. He probably wrote you off on your channel name. Nixonfanatic? WTF were you thinking? I might be a JFKfanatic, maybe even an Eisenhowerfanatic, but Nixon? No fucking way! Please explain to me how I'm wrong! Or, did you not realize who you're idolizing?
