Jang in my opinion you hit the nail on the head, Traxxas is not a failure for the XO-1, people just need to realize that xo-1 isn't for everyone. @foellerd Wrong an rc engine can be both rich and lean at the same time, ever have the engine temps climb while the engine was at idle, but it wouldn't stay up to temp while driving around, thats what happens when the low end is too lean but the high end is too rich. After working at a hobby shop...

Great flying man, I'm at about the same flying level as you and I'm getting my 500 tomorrow, keep practicing its a long road, I crashed my SR countless time and my 450 once, good idea of practicing hovers to the left and right of you going to add that to my training, have a happy safe flight.

Nice flying, get back at it you'll be rusty, but stick with your good, 5 months and your that smooth, I have been at for 2 month now and Sr is still all over the place lol. good job!
