I've always wondered where this version appeared. I heard it on the dvd released with Oncoming Storm. I think Unearth are an alright band but I don't like their overly polished sound. I wonder if there are anymore songs that are recorded like this.

@metallica2308 Agree 100%. Personally wasn't a fan of In Waves save for a couple songs. Shogun was just too good.

@jakeigh I agree..I love their old stuff just as much as their new stuff but yeah..I think if they go to far in the metal direction doesn't feel like something this band should do considering how many genres they have under their belt.

I love this band, really wanna see them live and have seen tons of live footage. Truth be told though, in this particular vid Alissa seems a bit off her game. Perhaps its just me? Great band though, and usually great performers!

@lobster272 I agree with you. His vocals used to be less forced, and he could carry them longer without taking breaths in between. This seems to happen with a lot of metal vocalists unfortunately. But yeah, people take things way to seriously lol, so you'll get a lot of shit for speaking your min...

@burnsometrashcans I think maggard wears that cause of he's not too fond of his hairline. I never see a vid or pic of the band where he isn't wearing something on his head and I think in a documentary or interview he mentioned he's balding...lol...

Whenever I play 3 in front of someone they say "they sound exactly like coheed"....they don't. Coheed sound like 3.

I kinda wish this band would release a professional live album. Mind..John Henrys vocals could use a little polishing live. They aren't bad..better than a lot of metal vocalists whose vocals tend to degrade over time, but still not as good as it sounded in the studio. Still, a live album by Darke...

Their music isn't bad...but the they don't really cut it live. The vocalists seems to be struggling and gets so into the energy of the show that his vocals suffer.

Metal fans..need to chill...lol..who hasn't heard that before.

Darkest hour are pretty good live. If you compare their live and studio tracks you hear obvious differences but its still pretty close. Some bands can barely deliver live what they do on record. Yeah..metal fans..chill....just...chill...
