Actually the rods in the 6g72 are forged...its the pistons that are cast and weak...Although you can boost a stock 6g72(v6 or gt) But nothing over 8psi and even then id do nothing but lose sleep over it

@Jp00EclipseGT ummm no dumb ass the 3rd generation eclipse comes in gs gt and GTS.... the GTS models are from 2003 to 2005... that have a diffrent intake manifold and depending and wich spec your eclipse is...cali or fed then it has 5 to 10 more horse power then a gt.....Stock for stock gts>gt
