I had heard his music and was captivated by its magical rhythm and its relentless lyrics, which seemed directed to me. I yearned to speak directly to this tremendously gifted young singer and to discover what fuels the intense fire that burns deeply within his heart. I was therefore appreciative when, in response to my request, he gave me the opportunity to interview him in his state-of-the-art studio. He is a down to earth person, and he spoke with earnestness and sincerity, his speech reflecting the strong vibrant person that he is. He and his brothers, Dapper Don, and Culture Don, are all devoted and caring family men, who believe that family is of central importance.
