I had left religion around 12 years ago, but then converted back to Islam (submission to God) around 4 years ago. Im just-a-muslim, a monotheist who use Quran as a guide to submit myself to God.. Quran was already made simple and easy to understand (the way it's said in Quran itself).. i dont need or belong in any sect and madzhab :) To me, we submitters are all one. ANYBODY who believe in God, the unseen and do good in life may have already become a Muslim (submitter) even if they dont know what "Islam" is :)
Quran Surah Al-Baqarah:62
Those who believe, those who are Jews, and the Christians and Sabaeans, ANYONE who believe in God and the Last Day and act rightly, will have their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow.
Quran Surah Ar-Rum:29-31
29 : However, those who do wrong pursue their whims and desires without any knowledge. Who can guide those whom Allah has led astray? They will have no helpers.
30 : So keep up your face to the religion, as a submitter/Muslim/Unifier of God , God's nature which He originated the people on it, (there is) no replacement to God's creation, that is the religion the straight, and but most of the people do not know.
31 : Turn to Him and fear Him, and be steadfast in prayer, and do not be one of those who associate partners with God,
32 : from those who separated their religion, and they were sects, each sect with what is at them they are rejoiced.
Quran Surah Al-Imran:19
The only true religion in Gods sight is complete submission to God. And those who were given the Book disagreed only out of rivalry, after knowledge had been given to themhe who denies Gods signs should know that God is swift in His reckoning.
About Believers :
THIS DIVINE WRIT - let there be no doubt about it is meant to be a guidance for all the God-conscious.
Those who believe in the unseen, and hold the contact-method, and from Our provisions to them they spend, who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter.
These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. (QS. Al Baqarah 2-5)
About Disbelievers :
As for those who are bent on denying the truth, it makes no difference to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe.God has sealed upon their hearts and upon their ears, and over their eyes are covers. They will incur a great retribution.
There are some who say, We believe in God and the Last Day, yet they are not believers. They seek to deceive God and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves without noticing. There is a disease in their hearts, to which God has added more: agonizing torment awaits them for their persistent lying.
When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!". Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise it not.
When they are told to believe as everyone else does, they say, "Should we believe as fools do?" In fact, they themselves are fools, but they do not know it.
When they meet those who believe, they say, We believe. But when they are alone with their evil leaders, they say, We are really with you; we were only mocking. God returns their mockery, leaving them to wander blindly on in their rebellion.
These are they who have bartered guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction, their likeness is that of people who light a fire, and then when it has lit up all around them, Allah removes their light and leaves them in darkness, unable to see. (QS. Al Baqarah 6-18)
Who is Allah ?
He it is who has created for you all that is on earth, and has applied His design to the skies and fashioned them into many skies; and He alone has full knowledge of everything. (QS. Al Baqarah : 29)
God, there is no God but him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the skies and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His knowledge encompasses the skies and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (QS. Al Baqarah : 255)
Why do we exist ?
And your Lord said to the Angels: "I am placing a successor on Earth." They said: "Would You place in it he who would corrupt in it, and spill blood, while we sing Your glory, and praise You" He said: "I know what you do not know." (Al-Baqarah:30)
O mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other- not that ye may despise each other. Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted with all things. (QS. Al Hujurat:13)
