I just saw the film today and I'll agree that that scene was hard to watch, not because of the violence, but the emotion that went with it.

I'm just gonna say that this movie will indeed make you cry...very sad and yet inspirational at the same time.

This was one of the most beautifully animated series and still is.

Can't say much about The Heroic Knight! That shit was terrible in terms of animation (opening was epic, though)....
