Me, Myself and I....I belong to me and no one else my real name is Melanie. Nikki Tesla is my alias, always has been always well be. Well there was that time in college it was Cherry Forever but that is a story for another day...

I am 40 years old and it kind of sucks but then it doesn't. I never thought I would make it to 40 and still be able to walk. I was diagnosed at the age of 13 with JRA. I work the support groups under various aliases and having RA for most of my life has afforded me the opportunity to give advice ... I guess. For several years prior to that I suffered from mysterious aches and pains that were cast of as "growing pains" or being "accident prone" and the just as famous "she wants attention" by my doctors. So the day I was diagnosed was the day I knew I was not crazy. I am also a Weight Watcher andfollow the points plan. Many of the drugs I am on have my weight swinging so much I really have had to take control of what I eat and since the birth of my last child I have been borderline diabetic. (Meaning if I watch my weight and what I eat I do alright and when I don't well...)

I am really amazed at how far I have made it. That I can still walk despite how many times I have not been able to. I have had many surgeries, taken a lot of drugs and tried lot's of treatments. I have been blogging for awhile and the other day it just got to hard to type and I thought screw it lets do videos. So depending on how I feel or how the wind blows...I will take about RA or not talk about it. I will talk about WW or not talk about it and so on...

Some videos may be public and some may be private for subscribers only. I guess we will know when I get there.

ABOUT ME...MY FAVORITE SUBJECT!! JUST KIDDING! I AM JUST ME. I AM A WIFE, MOTHER, DAUGHTER, SISTER, AND JUST ABOUT THE BEST FRIEND ANYONE COULD HAVE. When I am not doing this I work as a Vice President of diddly squat for an alternative energy company. Okay I run the Public Relations and Marketing Dept.
