About nierenja
I'm mostly a viewer of old time and bluegrass music, plus some hymns and organ. Hope to post some concertina music pieces sometime. As a former Air Force man, I sometimes browse various aviation videos.

I'm a retired IT manager, still getting used to this new phase of my life after 6 years. Children are grown but still keep us busy, the oldest daughter is married and the youngest in medical school. We have one neat little grandson, born in December 2010I initially signed up for You Tube just to see some shows I missed on TV, but I discovered all of the music posted here. I play the (Chemnitzer) concertina so I've been having watching and listening to many of the players who've have songs posted, as other music. I'm hoping to eventually post some of my pieces as well as other players that I have recorded videos of.
I'm also a photographer; I'm a bit better photographer than a musician. Once you make a good picture, you don't have to keep practicing to keep it looking good. My work can be found on Webshots, community, nierenj.
