World Youngest Chess Player

Tanishka Kotia became World youngest chess player by winning her life's first match against Ritik Srivastava on 20/07/2007 at the tender age of 3 years and 11 months in the District Open Chess Tournament held at Gurgaon, India from 20/07/2007 to 22/07/2007. She broke the earlier 114 years old record made by Jose Raul Capablanca who defeated Ramon Iglesias in Havana, United States on 17/09/1893 when he was 4 years and 10 months old.
A class nursery student of DPS, Gurgaon, Tanishka has inherited the passion for the game from her father & coach Ajit Kotia

Apart from chess Tanishka is very much active in modeling -- she has already grabbed an assignment to work with famous pop singer Shibani Kashyap in her next album to be released soon.

Currently Tanishka is looking forward to get some more modeling/ TV commercial / Brand Ambassador assignments.
