Did you know that the Federal Reseve and the Bank of England are private banks with powers that go beyond the government? Governments cant issue money. 24 REASONS TO LEAVE THE EU

1. Since we joined the EEC in 1973, we have been in surplus with every continent in the world except Europe. Over those 27 years, we have run a trade deficit with the other member states that averages out at £30 million per day.
2. In 2010 our gross contribution to the EU budget will be £14 billion. To put this figure in context, all the reductions announced by George Osborne at the Conservative Party Conference would, collectively, save £7 billion a year across the whole of government spending. (Rebate according to wiki is about 3 billion)
3. On the European Commissions own figures, the annual costs of EU regulation outweigh the advantages of the single market by €600 to €180 billion.
4. The Common Agricultural Policy costs every family £1200 a year in higher food bills.
5a. The Common Fisheries Policy has destroyed fishing stocks in our waters by opening it up to everyone. No one had any interest in keeping it sustainable but instead, in order to make a living, tried to out fish their neighbour, despite the destruction to the ecosystem.
5b. Outside the Common Fisheries Policy, Britain could reassert control over its waters out to 200 miles or the median line, which would take in around 65 per cent of North Sea stocks.
6. Successive British governments have refused to say what proportion of domestic laws come from Brussels, but a thorough analysis by the German Federal Justice Ministry showed that 84 per cent of the legislation in that country came from the EU.
7. Outside the EU, Britain would be free to negotiate much more liberal trade agreements with third countries than is possible under the Common External Tariff.
8. The countries with the highest GDP per capita in Europe are Norway and Switzerland. Both export more, proportionately, to the EU, than Britain does.
9. Outside the EU, Britain could be a deregulated, competitive, offshore haven.(we currently have an unbelievable 120,000 regulation from the EU. Our business suffers yet other countries get full trading rights with none of these restrictions)
10. Oh, and we'd be a democracy again.
11. There is no need, in any respect for a body such as The European Union to exist. It is an unimportant, irrelevant, extraneous layer of Administration which serves no recognisable purpose.
12. We can control our borders, and make laws specifically for our own country. At a local level.(We currently have an opt out allowing us to control asylum seekers however the commission can repeal this)
13. Carbon schemes implementation(believing "global warming" or not) if they have to be implemented can be implemented by us in a common sense fashion. For instance Tata Steel Ltd was given £600million in carbon credits to close the Corus steelworks in Redcar, firing 2000 people. Effectively paying them £600 mil to send those jobs to India. If they believe in "global warming" surely sending these jobs to a developing country with less regulation and standards is worst than keeping them here.
14. European Union says that we do 50% of our trade with them. We don't. That's wrong! 80% of trade is internal, and the rest is made up like this:
USA 57,420 (35%)
Commonwealth 36,821 (22%)
EU 35,037 (21%)
Rest of world 35,888 (22%)
15. When voting they can vote for up to 900 regulations per hour, sometimes voting them thru in blocks of 50! How can anyone keep track of that? For example it can be regulation's on tractor windscreens, tractor screws, etc etc. Random things that they should be keeping their nose out of and left to businesses.
16. The EU affectively have their own gestapo enabled by the European arrest warrants.

17. The EU is wiping out national identities and trying to replace them with an EU identity, with an EU flag, an EU anthem etc
18. We have already lost many businesses to Asia because of our high tax and regulation. With the EU plan for Tax Harmonization, to stop tax competition and raise taxes across all countries the EU will destroy what little production we have left!
19a. The EU is not accountable to anyone. They voted themselves a 6% pay rise in 09 when the average EU country shrank by 4.5%
19b. THE AUDITORS ONLT CLEARED 10% OF THE 08 BUDGET. MARTA ANDREASEN HAS COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE BILLIONS THAT HAVE GONE MISSING, NOT JUST THE MONEY THAT HASNT BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR.

20. We have 120,000 regulations and directives in our country from the EU. According to The Tax Payers Alliance using the EU's own figures this including our rebate, costs our business £120 billion a year. To put this into perspective last years deficit was £134 billion. Business saving this amount means more employment and faster growth.
