Most of us know Microsoft will plan to release their next OS now know as Windows 7 (I think they dropped the name "Vienna") sometime in 2011. It may seem like a long time away and you probably aren't interested in hearing about it, but this week I got to test out the beta and was shocked with my experience. Surprisingly I liked it. It looks like Vista, but feels a bit different. It seems faster, at around the speed of XP, I haven't gotten any errors or freezes yet, and all of my hardware and software works perfectly. My all-in-one printer, digital camera, tablet, scanner, headphones, and all internal components (including my graphics card which usually needs the drivers to survive!) all worked without drivers and without going through stupid little menus.
