I just saw the original version of this song's video, and I must say: This is the cooler one... The effects done with the video help emphasize the dreamy & layered nature of the song. All videos should convey the nature of the they're tied to so well, so they can be good.

A former Indiana radio-DJ had a garage-sale late in High-school, and I perused the rows of "For radio-play only, not for resale" 45s he had to try to find a few classics I knew of... @Cascorio1 I doubt torque will really be a problem, since the Cutlass 4-dr doesn't weigh that-much more than even the std-cab/short-bed S-truck, or the rare 2WD S-Blazers they put them in.

That PBS performance: Was it on a program called "Sound Stage"? If so, I have an older friend who saw the original broadcast of it! They typically presented live performances in FM-radio "simulcast" for best audio, so that may explain why the master-tape audio was so shoddy.

A 4-dr '80 Cutlass w/260ci gasoline V-8 like my mom had, only gussied-up. Her's was such a slug (110net-hp.) that my '94 4-cyl S-10 had more power (120net-hp)... Even with an automatic! With that in-mind, while looking at this one here: Man... Talk about "All 'show' and no 'go'!".

I hope for your sake that's not a 260 you're looking to sport a a "hot" engine in that family-truckster... Trust me!
