Do you get cleaner video results by placing an eyepiece over the viewfinder window when in live view for video? I.e. When the mirror is locked up for the live view, can light enter from the viewfinder and make it's way to the sensor?

There are Advanced Topics DVDs you can buy that will show you how to use (AE-L) exposure luck button on the Nikon D 7000; where you pre-meter and luck it and then go live mode and shoot your video and then you press the button again and un-luck it !!! Problem gone.
