This is a point form biography:
• I grew up on the Canadian Prairies.
• I started singing at a very young age, and had my first performing band by the time I was 13.
• I began leading worship at churches and youth events in 1996.
• I have been married for 11 years and I have 3 children.
... • I was officially a "worship pastor" for 4 years.
• I was on Canadian Idol in 2007.
• I toured Western Canada numerous times with my bands Starving Zealots and The Timeless.
• I now live in Ensenada, Mexico, where I am a full time missionary.

I write two types of songs.

In the first, I try to take snapshots of everyday life and put a spin of hope on them.

In the second, I put Scripture to song because I owe my every breath to my Saviour, Jesus Christ.
