About Neighborhood House of Calexico
Calexico Neighborhood House is a private non-profit agency located in Calexico, California, 120 miles east of San Diego. It was founded by the Ruth Fergerson, a United Methodist deaconess, in 1938. Calexico Neighborhood House provides an variety of services to the communities of Imperial Valley. Currently servies include pre-school, shelter for homeless women and children, emergency food, clothing, housing for senior citizens, and assistance for micro business development.
