I agree.. sometimes slower is better. I can't think of any song that needs that kind of speed. Obviously well played however.

Actually we interchange Blue Moon of Kentucky lyrics and White Dove on occassion on purpose. Sing one lyric from White Dove then an instrumental then sing B.M.of K. and keep going back and forth.

You would a lot of guys a big favor by simply playing it a half step up. This is the best version that I've heard. Even the words are different.

If you read the label the Gamo says 25% greater velocity, not penatration. Velocity does not neccessarily equate to penatration. Better if you would have had a radar gun to determine speed.

I would really have liked to have heard the youngster on the guitar. Banjo was a bit too loud to hear him. Certainly looked good however.. Thumbs up to all of you for getting together and playing instruments instead of video games..

Decided to play along with this. After a few trys it was apparent thaty this wasn't in regular tuning. For anyone wanting to play along, put the capo on the first fret not the second as shgown on the guitar. Nice job.. Great song..

First.. yes the .17 should outshoot the .22lr hands down. However, my Marlin 60 semi shoots better at 50 meters than the .22 you used for the test. Not only the rifle was a bit substand ( IMO ) but the ammo as well. I'd like to see this again with a different .22 and ammo. Results should be m...

While not a tack driver, this weapon is smooth as silk and still can shoot many police department qualifications with perfect scores. And those are shot at varing ranges from 3 to 25 yards. Sights are very easy to use. Perhaps a little instruction is in order ?

Give credit where it is due. Utah Philips wrote the song and recorded it with Gram Parsons, Gene Clark and James Burton in 1969. Utah was in Korea where he well may have received a Dear John letter which would account for his behaviour when he came back.

Exactly how do you plan on cutting off the tire. Most tires have steel belts running thru them. I like the idea but might be really labor intensive cutting off the tire.
