Actor, Singer, Show Host, Comedian, Dancer, Radio Presenter and Producer - Leena gives new meaning to the word versatile. As one of Singapore's most established and talented entertainers with over ten years of experience on stage, theatre and screen, she is also one of Asia's best.

Leena has secured many awards and nominations throughout her very high profile and successful entertainment career. The energy and enthusiasm she brings to all of her performances is infectious, as is evident in her well remembered character 'Rosnah' in Singapore's runaway hit TV sitcom Under One Roof. For it she won the Best Comedy Actress Award in the Asian Television Awards. The following years saw her constantly in the Top 3 in that category, garnering more awards and nominations through a series of television shows which she presented and produced.

Leena takes her performing legacy with her wherever she goes. She was pioneer cast at the comedy institution Boom Boom Room Cabaret. At the award-winning dinner theatre Igor's The Main Event, Leena reigned season after season as Lady Vampira. Her glittering performances led her to be in high demand for musicals, theatre productions and engagements throughout Asia.

Her move to Australia was spurred on by the challenge to expand her audience base. Her first Australian performance in Terry Pratchett's 'Wyrd Sisters' wowed the local audience and media. In a series of musical concerts, she shared the stage with the likes of the Australian Army's 1RAR jazz band. She made a successful foray into radio, co-hosting the 4ttt-FM daily morning radio program in North Queensland, and within months was producing and presenting three of her own daily radio programs.

Now based in Brisbane, Leena continues to devote her passion between acting and singing having just finished successful runs of the musical production of Sleeping Beauty for Brisbane Arts Theatre and The Enchanted Forest for Stage Door Theatre.

In the musical arena, Leena is gaining wide recognition in Queensland as a jazz chanteuse. A resident artist at the hip Vue Lounge in New Farm, she teams up with guitarist Aaron Bool to deliver an acoustic and soulful interpretation of standards, smooth and contemporary jazz with her own personality and style. Her musical talents haven't gone unnoticed -- so enchanting was her performance at the Tourism Queensland Awards that she was snapped up to perform at the Australian Tourism Exchange, the largest trade event in the Southern Hemisphere, for Tourism Australia. In addition to her Australian-based commitments, Leena continues to perform throughout Asia.

Leena is undoubtedly a consummate performing artiste. She continually evolves and intoxicates. Yet one suspects her best is yet to come.
