We therefore find compositions by the most outstanding creators of violin literature on the album "New Violin". The works presented, though they are in the canon of every self-respecting violinist,have so far been heard mostly in their original versions, for solo violin, accompanied by piano or orchestra. We owe their re-discovery to this contemporary look by Kraków artists. Thanks to the innovative idea to accompany soloists with string quartet, they have received a completely new sound. And so, from the first sounds a pleasant surprise is waiting for us. The virtuosity of Paganini's Caprices and brilliance of Bazzini are interweaved with Wieniawski's cantilena and the fiery temperament of Sarasate. Saint-Saëns' reverie and expression is mixed with a mysterious, little-known composition by Kirman. On the album we also find atmospheric Paderewski, Bartok's folk motives and Kreisler's spontaneity.
