I have such a massive man-crush on Aaron Lewis. Everything he's done. All of it. The ballads, the brutal metal of "Tormented" and "Dysfunction", the in between times, the melody, the "sell out" albums. Every-fucking-bit of it. I love this man's lyrics, voice, and who he is.

These guys are (were) from Maine and I used to literally see them play live every couple of weeks at a bar called The Big Easy. After parties at their place.. These guys were just awesome. Not just as a band, but just good, good Dudes.

Kevin Matisyn is my favorite lyricist making music today. Vocally he's right there, for me at least, with Maynard James Keenan. The new "Evans Blue" can blow me.
