New Royalty is a five piece alternative rock band that is based in the New Milton area of Hampshire. They have been playing now since March 2009 and have made a name for themselves playing at local clubs and parties.
In the summer time last year New Royalty were offered to be recorded for a promotional CD by Voltz. Two tracks were recorded at a local studio and put on this CD which was then given out at various festivals free with the energy drink.
Recently, in 2010, New Royalty (originally a four piece) added Jack Case (Piano) to their ranks. This has allowed them to experience new areas of music and to expand their creativity when it comes to creating their own music.
Our singer, Luke Adams won 2010's Talent Call. He competed against over 1000 other acts before winning the final; which took place at Bournemouth Pavilion.
New Royalty are influenced by a large range of bands and listen to many different bands. Some of the bands they are influenced by are the following: Muse, Kings of Leon, Kasabian, Placebo, Stereophonics and Green Day amongst others.
