This whole year has been about the big reveal. I've unexpectedly revealed new parts of me to myself. Now I'm looking to reveal "the process" to you. The creative process (and the recording process) is an intimate one and I'm guarded about it. But in this reality-obsessed culture I'm willing to play along a bit. If people are really interested, why not show them? So I'll be balancing giving you an inside peek without obliterating the authenticity of what it means to be an artist and what it means to create. I'll try my best not to perform for you, but to show you, simple as that. Thanks to Rosebrook Classical we'll be bringing you the following things live from New Orleans where I'll head on October 28-30th to record my second album, The Paganini Project, with eOne Music. The Paganini Project is a collection of variations including 3 sets on Paganini's infamous Caprice no. 24 in A Minor. I talk more about the program in the video below. For now, look to see live stream access to the actual recording session, vids and pics from the session and you'll get to come with us for the album cover photo shoot as we traverse the beautifully haunting city affectionately called NOLA. There will be points for interaction, so be on guard and participate whenever possible. I'm excited and terribly nervous to let my inhibitions down in this way.
