Hi, I like to model railroad. I have a full size shelf layout in my basement, we model the Penn Central Railroad. My favorite railroad is the Florida East Coast because there is so much action on their line, a train every half hour. Other railroads that I like are New Haven, Penn Central, and the Maine Central railroads. CSX and Union Pacific are okay but I like to see smaller railroads that use older engines like the Guilford System or the Connecticut Southern Railroads. My favorite locomotives are the Alco RS series and my fovorite locomotives out of those is the RS-3 and RS-27. I railfan at the West Springfield Yard with the CSX railroad. I also railfan in Plainville, Ct with the Guilford System. There is a small yard there with one GP-40 that serves all of Plainville, Bristol, and New Britain's railservice. My dream is to become a railroad engineer and then work my way up to become the owner of a railroad.
