About New Children/New York

New Children/New York is a film project that explores the experience of coming of age as a young Latino immigrant. Our youth participants have made a number of personal films about their lives and interests. And the filmmakers and students are collaborating on a feature documentary film that tells these kids' stories and reveals how filmmaking has helped them make sense of, cope with and overcome their challenges as young immigrants.
