Read Rich Dad Poor Dad. This is why you work for investment and dividend income, not earned income. All rich people know this. The government does this because it wants to encourage saving and investing, because saving and investing empowers economic growth and creates credit for companies.

Mitt Romney implemented health care in such a way that achieved almost universal health care while reducing the cost for the government, erasing a $3 billion deficit in the process. Coming in under budget is fiscally conservative, and I'm all for it.
