Well I am 24, need I say more? And...I like to live my normal life and live it to the fullest since I do not know what will happen tomorrow or in just a few seconds. I live in Johnson City, Tennessee. I have lived in Tennessee for most of my life, and I have not been out of state very much.
I am a pretty laid back person, but most people just assume that I am a stuck-up because I do not say a lot. I can assure you that I am far from being a stuck-up, and you will find that out if you get to know me better. I am just a quiet person that likes to listen to what people have to say. Once I get to know you better, I will warm up to you and break away from being quiet. Like it or not, it is me.
I currently work at the JCMCH(Johnson City Medical Center Hospital) as a PCP(Patient Care Partner). I have worked there for five years plus now. The patients know me there as a vampire! =) You have been warned, lmao!!! XD I work with 23 hour observation, over flow pediatrics, over flow high risk pregnancies, and whatever other patients that may come our way. It is a hospital, so you never know what you are going to get yourself into! =)
College life, well...is currently on hold at the moment because of the hours that I pull at work. I did, however, enroll myself at ETSU(East Tennessee State University) directly after I finished high school, in 2002, to pursue my dream of becoming a RN(Registered Nurse). I did complete one year there, but I burnt myself out trying to go to both school and work full time. I took off one year so I could recuperate, then in 2005, I enrolled myself in EMT/Paramedic school at Northeast State. I finished state boards and everything, but I decided not to carry out that profession because I would make more an hour if I stayed at the hospital than I would as being an EMT/Paramedic. (Try living with $6 an hour when you already make $9 an hour...yeah)
I am very interested in the medical field and will continue to be involved in it for the rest of my life. I plan on going back to school to finish what I started once I am able to cut back on my hours at work.
