About neohip
I'm a fellow with many musical and movie interests.
I was born in New Zealand in 1968,when the Beatles were recording Lady Madonna,(7th take,I believe! (Thank you, Mark Lewishon!) where I have spent my whole life and will be glad for it to remain so.
I do kind of of wish that I was born 20 years before my time though.
I well remember the early 70's from my childhood and have always thought that 'those were the days'(although I'm not really a nostalgic person).Perhaps I would just like to be trapped forever between 1969 and 1973!.(But only if I knew then what I do now!).
Things are perhaps better in the 21st century,in many ways, but I feel that the avenues of breeding and nurturing true talent and originality have obviously been closed and dumbed down to all of us for many years now.
Today it's all about money, fame and "reality" T.V.
Things are ever-changing so I hope this will change.
