I remember reading an interview with Copeland where he talked about how much he hated drum solos, how self-indulgent they were and that he would never ever perform one. I guess times change. But my admiration for the guy is undimmed. Phenomenal player.

I always knew he was a tremendous drummer, but this shows there was more to his style than just brute power. There is lots of subtlety here, and -- dare I say it? -- a real groove.
