My journey to a healthier and happier life!
About Me:

Hi!
I realized I'd never entered anything in my profile here to tell everyone a little bit about me.

First and foremost the most important thing in my life is my amazing family & friends! The love and support they and The Big Guy upstairs bless me with each and every day makes the good days AMAZING and the not so good more than manageable!

The second blessing in my life is a job that I love and co-workers I adore! I am a registered nurse who works in the nursing informatics field. I did hands on ward nursing for just over 20 yrs before moving into the world of technology as it relates to the healthcare setting. I now work as a Sr Analyst and Project Manager for our health authority and am totally loving the benefits I see not only to the clinician's ability to do a better safer job, but also and more importantly for the care our patient's receive.

I became involved with the You Tube WLS in spring of 2009 as I prepared myself for surgery. It has been the most amazing, information laden, supportive and positive thing I could have done to help ensure my success on this trippy trip.

I had always planned to record my progress for my own purposes but after a few wks of gleaning so much from all the amazing people here I felt the obligation to pay that forward. And hopefully, as it was for me with those who came before, sharing my experience will "pay that forward" and help others reach their goals and apsirations as well.

I just wanted to say thank you everyone for subscribing to my channel for your continued support! It is truly appreciated. I was going to go thank those who have subscribed in the last couple months ..catch up on that but found that with the new format I can't find anywhere that I can do that. Does anyone else hate the new format as much as I do? :(

So I'm not changing mine until such time as they force me to and hopefully they never do...lol.

Thank you for your kind and welcoming comments. I look forward to being friends with you. By the way. I loved all the wonderful photos you posted from your walkabout with your friends in Puerto Vallarta. Now I will recognize all those places when I see them in person. Looking forward to meeting Dr. Joya. I have heard only good things about him from his patients. I feel confident that I've chosen a good surgeon. Talk later!

Neecy, I've followed your videos and you accomplished a great deal. The skin issue is what we all face no matter what age we are. I'm expecting the same "saggy" results after I get my VSG in Feb. (Dr. Joya) and I'm a lot older than you, so a body lift would probably be out of the question for me. However, you can do that your age. It's worth the discomfort and the results will make you feel happier about your body. After what you've lost in body fat you've earned the best body image you can get. Go For It!

Realize that you are capable of working miracles of your own making. Remember that opportunities have a reason for knocking on your door, and the right ones are there for the taking. You don't always have to win, but you do need to know what it takes to be a winner. It's up to you to find the key that unlocks the door to a more fulfilling life. Understand that increased difficulty brings you nearer to the truth of how to survive it - and get beyond it. Cross your bridges. Meet your challenges. Reach out for your dreams, and bring them closer and closer to your heart. Go after what you want in life, with all the blessings of all the people who care about you. And find out what making your wishes come true really feels like. Cosmic thoughts ...
