Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. ~ Margaret Mead

If the west should not be involved in Darfur, I don't see why the evil Chinese Communist Party should be involved.

In fact, these invaders of Tibet, East Turkistan, and Mongolia are providing weapons to Sudan in exchange for oil! Why don't you condemn Chinese communists? Just because China is a third world country does not imply it is not more evil than the west!

Boycott Beijing Olympics 2008!

In 1876, a young girl named Jenn was walking down a river, an insane man killed her by stabbing her in the back, raping her, and then hanging her in his closet. While he hanged her he said Bukakke Bukkake.
Now that you have read this message, she will find you and her dead body will haunt your house for 5 years. Every night you go to sleep she will appear in your closet, hanging their with her glowing red eyes.

Weird how people say it's gov't killing when Janjaweed was formed before this current system in Sudan. Tribal problems had been there for ever, read my blog.

Why should the Western world get involved in Darfur? There is too much wrong and too much at stake. Why is Darfur different? You could throw a dart at Africa and find a similar conflict where the point landed.

I'm a member of Canadian Students for Darfur... and I'm pretty fucked up in the head right now about it.

What if intervention in Darfur only leads to more bloodshed and killing, all of us self righteous protesters will be responsible for the blood of innocents spilled.

Will Darfur become the next Iraq?

Bringing guns in won't help a thing.

Does America want Sudanese oil?

The UN peace keepers in southern sudan has been charged with sex crimes against minors. There is no clean record.

The issue isn't black and white. It's a good cause, and the killing has to stop...

but how can we do anything...

I must say that this is really a good thing that you are doing and i'm in full support. I'm not sure of what I can do yet, but I'm going to continue watching to learn more. I live in Cameroon so if you know anything that I can do from where I'm please tell me and I'll try my best. Best of luck.

instead of wasting time doing this how about donate to charities directly involved in the humanitarian effort in the country. You pick: 24 hours of chat that helps a total of zero people in Sudan. Or a $50 donation to the red cross to save someones life. Tough call.

U.S. envoy: Darfur rebels agree to truce
Sudan's government and Darfur rebels have agreed to a cease-fire and a peace summit as steps toward stopping the violence in west Sudan, a visiting U.S. official said today. "President al-Bashir agreed to the start of a peace process that includes a 60-day cessation of hostilities," said New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson.
