Neapolitan was a band from Lincoln City, Oregon, USA. The band was formed in October 2007 by founding members Kyle Hamlin and Ryan Viles. Before the band's breakup, the lineup consisted of Kyle Hamlin, Ryan Viles, Oliver Peery, Gavin Flynn, and Thomas Guerena. One or more band members were often absent from the band's recordings and/or live shows typically due to scheduling conflicts or laziness. The band was managed by Kian Flynn. Neapolitan performed live at the Taft High School Class of 2008 Graduation. Neapolitan also had two notable live performances at Cafe Mundo in Newport. Neapolitan was known for its humorous music videos. The band rose to superstardom with the release of its first music video for the song "Gene Pixxx". The band followed up the "Gene Pixxx" video with other popular videos including "Sunburn", "Jumpin' (feat. Ravi Bemis)", "You Make Me Smile", and "Magician". The band released one full-length album in 2008 called "Moose Tracks". In 2009, Neapolitan released an online EP called "Sundae Skool" as well as an official mixtape featuring some of the band's greatest hits called "Mundo Mixtape Vol. 1". The band had close affiliations with author Matt Love, as well as artists like Ravi Bemis and Anne Marie Sketch. In 2010, the band officially broke up.
