I believe you are correct, that the dance indeed is paso doble and that the title Bolero, we can only give credit to Ravel and not the dance bolero as Slavik is not a rhythm dancer but a latin dancer where the dance bolero is not included among the five dances.

Just one correction to my comment. They were dancing the Slow Foxtrot at the IDSF Open Brno in 2009. You must watch this video to appreciate the beauty of the dance as well as the song. Cheers.
