@Clonecommando0071 I'm not bashing the armed forces, just people like 66gt40lm that want to compare being an aircraft mechanic to going out on a combat patrol and getting shot at. Oh yeah, and people like yourself that think CAP is the military.

The dog fighting scenes seem mostly computer generated. If you look at 21:43 you'll see the aircraft appears to be decreasing in altitude, but the altimeter is actually increasing. Possible explanations for this behavior could include optical illusions with the rapidly varying terrain elevation...

If you look at his other videos, this is so over the top it has to be an act--either that or the guy has Tourettes.

@telemarker93 Or, if you actually knew what you were talking about, you'd know that the "cat" is slang for the catapult. Every fixed wing carrier based airframe in the USN takes cat shots. This particular aircraft is an F18.

@meee2014 The USS Iowa was last used in the Gulf War in the 90's. However, since the Gulf War, no BB has ever been used in combat under US colors.

@hoboandwedgiestudio1 Actually, you're wrong. The pin he's talking about is the Surface Warfare Officer Insignia, not the rank insignia. The SWO pin takes time to earn. As for time in service, both those JG's have at least 18 months since promotion to O2 is 18 months or automatically at 2 year...
