Sad the video was not mixed as "tartly" as the Knebworth '90 CD. Kick drum and bass much more up in an "air hole" mix. Really =punchy=. Also sad: This tune was not =on= that CD. :-(

@sirgerry This one has been popular in the UK since the mid-'80s; usually on the set this over there.

This version is truncated from the original, which included two or three more tune segments.

You have to suit up and show up, night after night. Whether you =feel= like it or not. You get very, =very= tired. You do what you have to. And it shows.

RIP Don Cornelius (who saw to it that black -- and white -- artists alike got the credit they deserved).

Saw them this past summer. Audience sing along, as usual. TG for the MBs; I'd have lost my mind "working for the man" without their input back then.

Deceptively simple guitar and bass line (just hits and lifts across three frets), but it sounds sooooo good.

The guy who engineered the original recording at Decca used to live & work in Palm Springs and told us how he built a seven-foot-tall spring reverb in '64 to get this sound. It's in one of the books about the Stones. Very nice remix here. If he were still around, he'd love it.

@BalticSeaChris You are correct in both your assertions. I had assumed that SS had been written by Jerry Lieber & Mike Stoller because it sounded so much like the novelty tunes they wrote for The Coasters and others. I discovered BD co-wrote it with Murray the K, the New York DJ.
