Welcome to NATURALHAIRCARE!
Whether your hair is natural, locked or relaxed, we hope you enjoy our step-by-step natural hair care, transition & healthy hairstyling how to videos. All of our styles have been created and maintained using all-natural hair care products, and a minimum use of direct heat to prevent drying and damaging the hair and scalp.
After over 30 years of combined study and experience in the fields of cosmetology, natural hair care, human ecology and herbal remedies, the company's founders have helped thousands of persons suffering with problems such as severe dandruff, eczema, dry skin, dry, breaking and thinning hair to find relief, NATURALLY! Our mission is to encourage you to consider using only healthy all natural ingredients on your hair & skin.
A word of encouragement for those "GROWING NATURAL": Be PATIENT with your hair. That seems to be the hardest thing to do for a lot of women. If you choose to resort back to styles that may damage your hair and scalp, out of frustration, you wiil never see how your hair responds at different stages of the "growing natural" process.
Since most of us are not used to seeing our hair in it's natural state, this will be a learning experience. By sticking with it and seeing it evolve you will come to know YOUR hair's unique texture and special needs and you will be able to help someone else get through their journey successfully.
Keep your styling options simple, especially as you go through the early phase of your natural hair journey. Opt for styles that require little or no combing. The less you do to your hair the more hair growth you will retain and the healthier it will be. Deep condition and trim your ends at least once a month and/or if it appears weak, sheds or breaks easily and eat foods that promote healthy hair.
Try not to allow whether your hair is always exactly the way you want it to be to determine whether you can be happy with it. Hair has it's good days and bad days. Be patient with it, and it will reward you with a beautiful, healthy, NATURAL crown of glory you will be proud of!
