Nathan-John was born in Weymouth, Dorset in 1983. He began playing music when he was 14 and is self-taught on guitar (acoustic and bass), drums and keyboards. He played Bass guitar in a college band, Heavy Soul, doing gigs around his home town. He has built his own home recording studio where he writes, arranges, produces and records his own songs and cover versions. His influences include Motown, R&B, Craig David, Phil Collins, Jaheim, Luther Vandross among others. He is now working on writing, recording and producing his debut album.
