I think I can best be defined as a "Hobo Rock Star"
"Hobo" because I mainly put on my concerts sitting on benches in city parks and plazas—often without an audience... and "Rock Star" because my "World Tour" is literally a World Tour—my music has been heard in nearly a thousand cities and towns in scores of countries all over the planet.
And I'm just getting started.
Every year I do two different types of Concert Tours:
Discovery Tours: These tours are mainly about exploring and playing music in a place I've never been to before. I just show up some place, wander around a while and see what there is to experience. I then find a suitable spot to sit down, pull out my guitar and play a couple of songs for whoever happens to be passing by. I then take a photo and video clip of myself for the record. Every year I try to do this in at least 250 new cities or towns.
Album Tours: Once I put out my yearly album, I then take these songs back on the road, going back to some of my favorite plazas and parks, perhaps meeting up with some folks I met during my Discovery Tour. I set tentative dates and times for these concerts—but I suggest that you confirm with me by email if you're planning to come—as my plans can change without notice. I also sometimes do indoor gigs at coffeehouses or clubs.
To hear more about my music you can ask me for a copy of my latest home recorded album. Right now my 2010 album "It Means Nothing" is available in audio or digital format.
