This is arguably the most musically informed, technically perfect interpretation of Busoni's transcription of Toccata and Fugue in D-Minor. Beginning the fugue softly makes the later climax all the more breathtakingly monumental. Thank you for uploading this wonderful performance.

This is a professional orchestra? The conductor can't seem to keep a steady tempo and half of the brass players are playing incorrect notes. The tempo begins at about 100bpm (which is perfect) but, slows way down and back up several times. The crescendo at 0:45 could be more forceful as well, but...
