NASA's mission is to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.

To do that, we have worked around the world -- and off it -- for more than 50 years, searching for answers to fundamental questions about our place in the universe. We're exploring space and discovering Earth. Join us for this exciting and important journey.

NASA as me being a young teenager I dream of me working for you guys some day. I also hope someday I may go into space. I will try my best and hopefully my dream may come true. keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to the high schoolers and the middle schoolers and educate us very much, but not only people in high school or middle school, but in collage as well. :)

i have just watching a video on how the moon formed, at the end of the video it said that the moon is slowly floating away from earth and future solar eclipse would not fully block the sun any more. is this true?

Good afternoon NasaTelevision - Atlas Visual Science

Experience Mercury

The development of the Programme Mercury resulted more from political dispute than scientific intentions. In the course of the Cold War, after the launch of Soviet satellite Sputnik 1, the U.S. government accelerated its progam Astronaut. The development of the Mercury spacecraft was the first step to set in motion the Apollo project, whose goal was to make a trip to the moon landing astronauts on the natural satellite and return safely to Earth, as expressed wish of the then U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
