I am a djembefola from Guinea and I play several traditional West African instruments including the djembe, dunduns, bolon and n'goni. I am a musician and teacher of the music of the Malinke people of Guinea, West Africa. I lead several traditional West African performance groups in the UK including Funkama and am a member of Hamana Kalu in Guinea-Conakry. I play the traditional Malinke music of the Hamana region of Guinea. I was born in the village of Sangbaralla, near the town of Kouroussa (in the Hamana region of Guinea).
