I play original music in coffeehouses, restaurants, parks, markets, festivals or wherever anyone will let me play. I've been fortunate to record 4 full CDs and am working on a 5th and did 2 cassette projects, one in 1985 and one in 1993.

My main instrument is piano and keyboard but have recently taken up the mountain dulcimer. My family and a few close friends all pitched in and bought it for me for a recent significant birthday at my request! Scot Hamlin of Hamlin Guitars in Kansas made my dulcimer and it's a beauty. I'll be uploading homemade video to some songs I'm blogging about on my website. It's a great way to tell the stories behind the songs as well as record a bit without the expense of the studio.

I've been writing songs since my senior year of high school, mostly accompanying myself on the piano. So the dulcimer will be a fun way of expressing my folkie side a bit more.
