bartender, Vietnamese singer, student, future English teacher, internet newbie, music fan of all genres, oh and as far as ethnicity goes... well, let's see now...born in Vietnam, to a Vietnamese mother and a "Heinz-57" American father, therefore, others usually refer to me as a "halfie", "hapa", or "mixed breed". (And let's not forget those other terms, i.e. "Con Lai", "Metis" in Vietnamese and French, respectively. Let's not even go there with the term, "Bui Doi", all you Miss Saigon fans! Puh-leazzze!) Well, in truth, I've never been half of anything, nor am I an animal to be called "mixed-breed", but what I've always been is 100% human and very proud of my mixed heritage. So, to those who are just hellbent on specifics, here goes... My mother is Vietnamese, a beautiful woman who looks 100% Vietnamese, but her father (my grandfather) was 1/2 French, (genes do that sometimes) and my father, is of Scottish and Scandinavian descent, but American-born and raised, yet many of my friends say I turned out looking Hispanic. Huh? So, what does that really make me? A mixed-up American, 100%. LOL

I'm a major catlover, cats are such beautiful creatures; harmless, sweet, and affectionate. I should know I've raised a total of 11 cats throughout the last 9 years. Call me biased, but even with cats, I think the most beautiful cats are of mixed-breed.
