About this user

It was in my mothers kitchen where my passion for food started. She is considered the cook among family and friends. I watched her preparing delicious dishes and listened to raves about them. When I turned 12, we had a subject at school where the teacher taught us some basic dessert and soup recipes. It was then that Ive realized that I love and enjoy cooking more than anything in the world.

But, my parents expectations were different, they pushed me towards scientific goals, and later I graduated from Yarmouk University majoring in Chemistry. At the end, Chemistry and baking (which I perfect and enjoy most) have something in common, which is measuring!

Here in Canada, and with my kids gowning to school, I found my self with lots of time, and decided to make use of it, so I started enhancing my knowledge about food preparation and cooking techniques ,I read lots of cooking books, and the self -learning journey continued and still going on.

Im so passionate about food and cooking. When Im not in the kitchen cooking, I am usually watching Food Network, Fine Living channel, or My Viva (Canadian Lifestyle channel) where professional chefs from U.S.A and Canada are using various cooking and baking techniques. My husband suggested that I start posting tutoring videos on YouTube to help the Arabic speaking audience, who needs to learn about food and how to cook. I liked the idea, my first video was on how to make Arabic pita bread, the feedback, reviews and number of subscribers were more than I expected. I got motivated and my YouTube experience continued. I like socializing with people, YouTube offered me the chance to communicate with the globe about the subject that I like most.
