1: Europe is still a group of independent countries, and foreign policy isn't arranged very well at the EU level, not yet.

I've been thinking about starting to read books again. I quit reading about 10 years ago, and except for a few moments of weakness, haven't read a work of fiction since. Perhaps it is time to pick up the habit again. I mean, by now they will probably allow me in the adults section of the library....

Part of being a good scientist is knowing what instruments can and cannot register. The people at CERN set up their equipment so that either:

a: The Higgs Boson is found

b: The Higgs Boson as predicted by the Standard Model doesn't exist

If it is b, then they were expecting the wrong thin...
