Well I'm 14 years old, for one...I'm a dancer and a musician. I really get into anything music based because music is my life, but I guess that means I really get into everything because music is all around us, and is in everything we do. So because I'm a music kid I'm going to tell you what music and dance are to me.

MUSIC is my heartbeat, and my way of living. Everything I see, hear or do has a beat, and rhythm. Music is the steps I take walking down the halls, and the voices of the people I talk to. The rustling of a bag in the street is music, as is the sound of my typing this to you.


DANCE is the rhythm of life. It's a way to express yourself when there's no other way possible. Interpreting the sounds of the bass of a song, or the soft but noticeable piano in the harmony. Not thinking about what or how you're doing what you are, but somehow doing it anyway. My inspiration, the person, cause, and reason for what I do? My idol and life hero Michael Joseph Jackson.


Michael has more heart than anyone you'd ever know. He pours his heart and soul into his music and dance. Not because it's business, or because people wanted him to. Michael did what he did because it was something he loved to do, and something that brought him an unexplainable happiness.


Michael was the beat, rhythm and soul of music. There was something about him where you could tell he was happy on stage or that he was having fun...Michael was so misunderstood when yet everything the world needed to know was in his music, his dance, his voice, and the list goes on.


For you Michael might be "the greatest singer/dancer/entertainer in the world" or "The King of Pop" or maybe even just "Michael Jackson" but for me Michael was everything music stood for and is.




For me Michael IS music, and very easy to understand when the right time is taken TO understand him. But that's what music, dance, and Michael Joseph Jackson mean to me.
