The easiest and also cheapiest solution is the book with cd's which you can find ih the newspapers stands called "Τα ρεμπέτικα 1850-1960" from the newspaper TA NEA, the three first bokks cost 7,5 euro each. There you can find the pictures and beautiful songs with Marika and others

the photos are from books about rebetika songs. Alexiou was the most famous musician in the first period of rebetiko, he was born in Galatsi, Romania at 1850 and dead in Mitilini, Lesvos at 1925. He was the generator of smyrneiko rebetiko.
