Senior Correspondent for MBC TV

Nadia Bilbassy Charters is the senior US correspondent for the largest Arabic TV station , MBC TV. She covers the White House and the State dept since 2003. She was the diplomatic correspondent for the sister company Alarabiya TV. She was the only Arab journalist to have interviewed both president Bush and the first lady, Laura Bush six times. She has been a foreign correspondent for 20 years, covering hot spots in Africa, Asia and the Middle East . Prior to moving to washington, she was embedded with the 101 Marine Division during the war in Iraq.
