nah man, haven't met anyone who has one... i don't think they're out yet, are they? i have caught a couple clips of them on their site though a weeks back. the sound seems to be a lot better then the previous model, the picture is also a lot smoother too. i'll keep an eye out for them and let you know if one of my boys gets one, which i'm sure one of them will.

Hello from Norther Michigan. In answer to your comment, yes the waves on Lake Superior have been recorded well above 30 feet. What's more is big waves on the ocean are far apart and a boat is more able to ride over them. On the Great Lakes they are so close together that they hammer the ships and make maneuverability extremely difficult. Believe me, I have sailed on both.

i'm using a VIO POV1.5 camera with a Zorst low-gain mic. it's kind of pricey, but the quality of the footage is well worth it imo... they use it for dvd/tv shows and stuff. the quality of the mic is also a plus, all motor with no wind noise. i haven't seen any footage with the GoPro HD setup yet, but a few of my friends have the regular cameras, the sound kinda sucks, the picture is also really distorted/fisheye with the WIDE version and doesn't give the true depth of field. that being said, i recommend the VIO POV1 or POV1.5. it's a dope setup and totally worth it.
